ldap-git-backup software package provides Back up LDAP database in an Git repository, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ldap-git-backup
ldap-git-backup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ldap-git-backup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ldap-git-backup *
You will get with ldap-git-backup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
